Top Ten ALL-TIME Favorite Authors!
These are all authors that are auto-buys to me! I know that no matter what, I will LOVE anything they write.
J.K. Rowling - There really isn't much that needs to be said here. J.K. Rowling is a genius and Harry Potter will always live in my heart.
Veronica Rossi - Besides Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, The Under the Never Sky series is one of my most reread series. And I know more will be coming in the future. What I love about Veronica's books are that I can so easily picture the world and the characters. To me, they are unique and perfect. Some of my favorite characters EVER (Roar, Perry and Aria) come from this series! Veronica is also co-author for the Boomerang NA series (pen name: Noelle August). I love this series too.
Sarah J. Maas - The Throne of Glass series has been an amazing series so far! I love how deeply written the characters are. I really connected with Celaena in the fourth book Heir of Fire in regards to depression she was struggling with. At the time of reading that book I found myself relating and amazed at Sarah's writing. This series is epic, read it!
Jodi Meadows - I love Jodi's writing. The Newsoul's trilogy was a fantastic series but her new series The Orphan Queen is 1000 times even more amazing. What I love: Fantasy adventure, hot guys, and humor. I love these three together! I'm DYING for the second book in this series, The Mirror King, to release next year.
Rae Carson - The Girl of Fire and Thorns series is one of my favorite fantasy series of ALL TIME! Why? Because this series actually gets BETTER with each book. Many times the middle or last books fall a bit flat, but for me this is the best series ender in a series ever!
Julie Kagawa - Oh my heart! I LOVE all of Julie Kagawa's series. The Iron Fey series and the Blood of Eden series are both series that ripped my heart out, in a good way. I don't get too emotionally invested in characters that it would make me cry but Julie is one who can get to me with her writing. I also am really enjoying the Talon series and look forward to reading Rogue.
A.C. Gaughen - AHHHHH!!!! Seriously, the Scarlet trilogy is probably one of my favorite trilogies ever! The characters are so rich but the romance between Rob and Scarlet is amazing! LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!
Sara Raasch - Snow Like Ashes quickly topped the list of my all time favorite books. Yes, I've only read one book by Sara but I am confident that all books she writes will be fantastic! I am looking forward to Ice Like Fire!!!!
Morgan Rhodes - If you haven't read Falling Kingdoms yet, shame on you! This series is AWESOME! It's a high fantasy with such wonderful magic and snarky characters. Love it!
Maggie Stiefvater - Confession: I have ONLY read The Scorpio Races, BUT I freaking loved it! I am confident that I will love The Raven Boys as well. The details written into her worlds really makes the place seem real (from smells, sounds, sights, everything!)
Who are your favorites?
I love Veronica Rossi!!! The Under the Never Sky series is one of my all-time favorites. If she never writes another book she will still be on my top ten list :) Though I really hope she writes more ;)
